Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator - Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure Operations team. The successful candidate will manage and enhance our enterprise infrastructure, focusing on stability, availability, and performance of critical systems. This role involves balancing operational support, project work, and the use of modern tools for continuous improvement and automation.
Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator - Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure projects and operational initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate activities across multiple technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Prioritize and balance production incidents, problem management, maintenance activities, and project work.
- Administer VMware vSphere environments including virtual machine provisioning, performance tuning, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
- Support VMware SimpliVity infrastructure and virtualization platforms.
- Administer Windows Server environments including installation, patching, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
- Manage HPE SAN infrastructure including Fibre Channel connectivity, storage provisioning, capacity planning, and issue resolution.
Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator - Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Extensive experience administering VMware vSphere environments.
- Strong Windows Server administration skills including patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience managing HPE SAN storage and Fibre Channel infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Nutanix infrastructure and Prism Central administration.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration including Satellite.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Ansible playbook development and configuration management.
