Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the automotive and commercial tire service team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
- Perform advanced repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles, utilizing your Red Seal certification to uphold industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and assembly of automotive components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.
- Manage shop operations including scheduling, inventory control, safety compliance, and quality assurance.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members on technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in automotive repair and tire service.
- Ensure heavy lifting safety procedures are followed during tire replacements or vehicle repairs involving large or heavy parts.
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal certification as an automotive mechanic with extensive experience in dealership or commercial tire service environments.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a team within an automotive repair shop or dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tire installation, wheel alignment, brake systems, and suspension components.
- Proficiency with schematics, assembly instructions, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire replacements or repairs involving large vehicles or parts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to automotive repair shops including safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Pay: $22.70-$44.28 per hour
