Production Generalist
What does a great Production Support Tech do at Fiserv?
You will handle quality control inspection, electronic functional testing, reprogramming, cleaning, packing the point of sale (POS) equipment. We ensure the reliability of the equipment that is vital to our merchant’s daily success of handling final transactions. The terminals we touch are sent to merchants across the country that are used by consumers for the purchase of products and services.
What you will do:

Complete training on all assigned equipment to ensure you have knowledge to test equipment for problems with some assistance.

Download, configure and test all units according to set procedures. Inspect for cosmetic failures. Fully erase any old program stored in unit as needed.

Download appropriate test program into unit and fully test functionality of unit as needed. Record all units into repair tracking system and report any informational discrepancies between the unit and its associated paperwork.

Work within quality control standards; review the quality control inspection of the equipment prior to the next process level.

Receive broken or dysfunctional units and restore to their full operating and functional purpose.
What you need to have:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
1 year working in a production/warehouse environment

1 year computer software and hardware experience

Experience with Component Identification
-
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. throughout day, up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Must be able to stand and sit for entire shift
-
Experience communicating in English verbally and through email and reading spread sheets

Available to work between the hours 8:30am - 5:00pm shift
What would be great to have:

1 year Electronics or computer/tablet repair/assembly experience

Prior experience working with electronic devices

Prior experience with ISO 9001 quality processes
