Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electric Pallet Jack Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is vital for efficient material handling, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse environment, with a focus on safety and precision. Prior knowledge of warehouse management systems and mechanical skills are a plus, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate electric pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
- Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing products for shipment or storage
- Collaborate with team members to organize warehouse space efficiently
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and operate other heavy equipment such as clamp trucks or forklifts when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Must have previous experience for operating electric pallet jack
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, or order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to operate electric pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience in construction or load & unload operations is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
