Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe and reliable operation - Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel - Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is preferred - Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
