Summary Of Position:
The Server Support plays a key supporting role in ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the restaurant. This person will be detail-oriented, hardworking, and passionate about hospitality. The right candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, working collaboratively with the front-of-house team to create memorable guest experiences. Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant is an asset, though a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude are most important.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Guest Commitment and Relations:

Greet all guests with a friendly, welcoming demeanor when entering or exiting the dining room

Assist in maintaining a polished and professional dining room throughout service

Anticipate guest needs by staying attentive to the flow of service

Refill water glasses and reset tables swiftly and accurately
-
Ensure guest comfort by responding promptly to requests and communicating them to the appropriate team member

Support the Server team in enhancing the overall guest experience
Communication:
-
Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members across all departments
-
Approach service with a calm, collaborative spirit to support a positive work environment

Listen actively to direction and feedback from team leads, and act with efficiency and professionalism

Prioritize tasks effectively to assist in smooth, uninterrupted service
Product Knowledge and Guest Interaction:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the food and beverage offerings to assist with guest inquiries when needed

Communicate any dietary restrictions or guest preferences to the appropriate team members

Ensure all interactions with guests are friendly, respectful, and supportive of the Server’s lead

Alert management immediately to any guest concerns or service issues

Maintain awareness of special events, menu changes, and daily features
Service Tasks:

Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and neatly
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas including polishing cutlery, stocking glassware, and folding napkins

Assist with restocking of server stations and replenishment of restaurant inventory

Execute all side duties and closing responsibilities as assigned

Deliver food to guests and represent the dishes appropriately using product and brand knowledge

Support the entire team with a collaborative, all-hands-on-deck attitude

Follow all hygiene and food safety guidelines as outlined in training
Required Experience
-
1–2 years experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
-
Experience in a support or runner role an asset
