FIELD CONSTRUCTION MANAGER– Commercial Construction
The field construction manager will have exceptional planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site elements across multiple overlapping projects, this role requires an individual driven to exceed the expectations of project success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications and schedules for the ICI industry and have experience with projects that range from $1M - $5M with no less then 5 years as a construction site supervisor.
- Supervising, scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget.
- Liaise with project management team, designers, engineers, clients to achieve the scope of work.
- Ordering materials and supplies.
- Problem solve jobsite issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work on track and on time.
- Follow company policies set by Management.
- Conduct site meetings as required with weekly project reporting.
- Provide daily site and weekly safety reports; conduct site and safety orientations
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all IHSA Regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and carry out inspections and reviews
- Coordinate on site logistics and work flow
