Service Technician – Cooling Tower Maintenance
$35.00–$42.00 per hour | Full-Time
Cooling Tower Maintenance is looking for a mechanically skilled Service Technician to join our team.
We are looking specifically for candidates with a strong mechanical background in either Millwright work or Automotive Mechanics. Previous experience in one of these areas is a must. Experience with cooling towers or HVAC equipment is not required — we will provide the necessary industry-specific training.
This is a hands-on position working on commercial and industrial cooling tower equipment. The right candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, dependable, safety-conscious, and interested in learning a specialized skilled trade.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing service, maintenance, repairs, and mechanical work on cooling tower equipment
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and equipment maintenance
- Removing, replacing, and servicing mechanical components
- Working safely on commercial and industrial job sites
- Working at heights and accessing rooftop mechanical equipment
- Following company and site-specific safety procedures
- Traveling to customer sites as required
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Previous mechanical experience in either Millwright or Automotive Mechanic work
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Their own reliable vehicle
- The ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs
- The ability and willingness to work safely at heights
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous cooling tower or HVAC experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.
Compensation
$35.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on mechanical experience and qualifications.
Voluntary overtime shifts are available for employees who would like additional hours and earnings.
Voluntary out-of-town work is also available for employees interested in travel opportunities. Food and lodging allowances provided. Travel time is paid.
