IDO Media is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our TEAM at our head office located at 2615 Pembina Hwy Winnipeg, MB R3T 2H5.
This is a full time permanent position working 35 hours / week with a pay rate of $28.13 per hour and benefits eligible after 3 months’ probation.
- Identifying and soliciting potential clients for the company
- Advertising and promoting the company’s products and services
- Preparing presentations to potential clients regarding the company services
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profit
- Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to clients
- Providing customer service and building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationship
- Forwarding clients’ requirements on ad or campaigns to content production team
- Monitoring and analyzing potential market opportunities, trends and products
- Exploring new ways to engage and identify new social networks
- Developing and implementing promotion strategies for IDO Media’s new products
- Public Relations by creating and managing PR lists, writing pitches and outreach
- Willing to travel to IDO offices across Canada when required
- At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role in a Media company
- Work related experience in Interactive/new media and social media
- Proficient in InDesign, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
- Relevant Education or equivalent experience
- Must have a clean Driving record check (abstract) and able to clear a criminal record check
