We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support the smooth daily operations of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues or potential hazards.
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment as needed.
- Maintain and troubleshoot various machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and basic carpentry is desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks regularly.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation needs around the facility.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or repair work are advantageous but not required.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
