Position Overview
We are seeking a Residential Appraiser (designated CRA or working toward designation) to join our growing team in Nanaimo . This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential property inspections and market research
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports in compliance with AIC (Appraisal Institute of Canada) standards
- Analyze market data, comparable sales, and trends within local communities
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and internal team members
- Manage assignments efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- CRA designation, or active candidate working toward CRA or AACI designation
- Strong understanding of residential appraisal methodology and reporting practices
- Excellent analytical, writing, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with appraisal software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of Vancouver Island real estate markets is considered an asset
