ProLink Supply Ltd. is a leading distributor of fencing products, construction materials, and related solutions serving contractors, builders, and project sites across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. With a reputation built on reliability, product knowledge, and hands-on customer service, we pride ourselves on being a trusted partner to the trades and construction industries we serve.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, safety-focused Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Maple Ridge team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, varied position that keeps you moving — part of your day you're on the road making local deliveries to job sites and customer locations, and part of your day you're in the warehouse and yard keeping operations running smoothly. You'll be a visible face of ProLink to our customers, which means your attitude and professionalism matter as much as your driving record.
If you take pride in doing things right, showing up on time, and being the kind of person a team can count on — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities – Delivery Operations
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required inspection records.
- Deliver products to customer sites, businesses, and job locations throughout British Columbia.
- Secure loads properly and ensure all cargo is transported safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Verify deliveries against shipping documentation and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.
Key Responsibilities – Warehouse Operations
- Pick, stage, package, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify quantities and condition of goods.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Maintain warehouse, yard, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Assist customers with product pickups and loading when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, WorkSafeBC requirements, and transportation regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Valid British Columbia Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract is a requirement for this position.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving, delivery, or transportation experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis*. *Accommodations are available upon request for applicants with disabilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Class 5 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
- Experience in construction materials, fencing products, building supplies, or industrial distribution.
- Shipping, receiving, and inventory management experience.
Working Conditions
This is an active, physical role suited to someone who enjoys being on the move rather than behind a desk. You'll spend your days split between local delivery runs — returning to the Maple Ridge branch each day — and hands-on warehouse and yard work. The role involves regular lifting, bending, and climbing, and you'll be working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. If you're someone who takes pride in staying busy, working independently, and finishing the day knowing you got things done, this environment will suit you well.
