Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order completion
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
