We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our production team at our Richmond Hill facility. This role works closely with the Production Supervisor to support daily operations in a fast-paced rebar manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will assist with machine operation, quality checks, equipment monitoring, and general production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with start-up and operation of production equipment
- Support machine feeding, monitoring, and changeovers
- Inspect and measure finished products for quality and accuracy
- Monitor production controls and report any issues
- Assist with basic equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Support general production tasks as required
- Fill in for other roles on the production floor when needed
Requirements
- Experience in steel or manufacturing considered an asset
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work overtime as required
Shift
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Overtime as required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
