Intent of the process
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used as needed to staff casual positions.
The period of employment of a casual worker may not exceed 90 working days in one calendar year in any particular department or other organization.
Please note that during the assessment process, you will not be considered to be in travel status or on government business and that travel costs will not be reimbursed. Consequently, you will be responsible for any travel costs.

Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience).
Experience in performing clerical/administrative office duties.

when making selections among candidates.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
