Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in developing and implementing new recipes and menu items
Skills:
- Strong background in the food industry, preferably with experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, preparation, and service
- Proven ability to supervise and train staff effectively
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dishes and menu concepts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
