Overview
We are seeking a skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welder & Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves precise welding, polishing, and fabrication of stainless steel components, primarily utilizing TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with experience in various manufacturing environments. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Polish welded parts to meet quality standards using appropriate hand and power tools
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
- Assist with assembly and installation of fabricated parts in accordance with project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding of stainless steel
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and other fabrication equipment
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements
- Familiarity with machining techniques and assembly processes in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of welding standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
