Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer and respond to telephone calls and emails with professionalism (Patient bookings, follow up calls)
Facilitate patient flow by notifying staff of patient's arrival or delay
Respond to patients, prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
Keep medical office supplies adequately stocked
Maintain cleanliness of reception area, waiting room and exam rooms
High School Diploma
Experience with medical terminology would be considered an asset
Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to work within a team based environment and requires little supervision
Team player with a positive work ethic
Punctuality and reliability are essential
Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain professional rapport with patients and staff members
Detail oriented, organized, fast learner and able to prioritize responsibilities according to office needs
Superior communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
