Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Field Coordinator to champion safety standards across construction sites. In this vital role, you will oversee the implementation of safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive safety audits and site inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Monitor HSE plans tailored to each construction project’s specific needs.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to promote safety awareness and facilitate ongoing training sessions.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and training
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and corrective measures.
- Use construction management software to track safety metrics, report progress, and coordinate safety activities efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction environments with a strong understanding of site safety protocols.
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety compliance and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to perform detailed site inspections and identify potential hazards proactively.
- Certifications such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Job Position Details
-Location: Fort Saskatchewan AB
Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off rotation, 10 hrs/day
-Will require H2S Alive, First Aid Level C CPR/AED, CSTS 2020 (free online), certificates.
-Must have reliable transportation to and from site
