Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assisting with installation projects, performing various labour tasks, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion. Duties
- Assist with the installation of building components such as metal roofing, siding, soffit, facia, eavestrough, decks and fences.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors or lead tradespeople to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Perform general labour duties including lifting heavy materials, moving supplies, and maintaining tools and equipment
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction projects
- Previous construction experience or familiarity with building sites is highly desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship in all tasks performed
- Must have own vehicle
