Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at number of luxury retail stores located in the new Oakridge Mall. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and a strong commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with opportunities to develop their cleaning skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Ensure trash is emptied regularly and waste is disposed of properly
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: $20.00-$23.33 per hour
