Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to assist multiple customers during busy periods
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support team members in achieving store goals and maintaining a positive environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields; experience in technology sales or product demos is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling procedures
- Organizational skills to manage time efficiently and keep the sales area tidy
- Ability to operate POS systems and perform cashiering functions accurately
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated to meet individual sales targets
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs
