Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and organized service area. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare simple food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, utensils, and equipment
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Ensure all food handling complies with health regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
