Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and efficient work environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in onboarding processes, and develop team members’ skills through ongoing training
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant setting with strong leadership skills
- Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively
- Strong organizational skills to oversee restaurant operations smoothly
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles is highly preferred; barista or hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
