Position Summary
The Sustainability & Sanitization Cleaner plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable work environment throughout the facility, including the office, plant, and warehouse areas. This position requires a dependable and self-motivated individual capable of performing physically demanding cleaning and waste management tasks independently, with a strong focus on reliability and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Sanitization and Cleaning Duties
- Perform daily sanitization and disinfection of commonly touched surfaces throughout the facility, including door handles, time clocks, workstations, lunchroom tables, and countertops.
- Sweep debris and maintain cleanliness across the plant and warehouse floors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial, or waste management roles preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including:
- Lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally..
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., face mask, gloves, hearing protection, safety shoes).
