Part-Time Bartender
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and responsible Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety regulations and alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at shift start and end
- Handle serving orders promptly while maintaining high-quality customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred; hospitality experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol legally
