ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Lead Hand for the team you’ll be responsible for both working and helping to coordinate your primary work area.
You will be the primary contact for the status updates in your section and you will help train and support other team members.
You will also assist the supervisor in ensuring targets are met and safety protocols are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn all positions in your respective division
- Set up and prepare products for packaging
- Use the ERP system to print production sheets and labels
- Lead and train team members in the assembly and packaging areas
- Work with your supervisor to ensure daily production targets are met
- Perform regular quality inspections on products
- Work with the supervisor to resolve any issues that may occur
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and take charge of area cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead hand type role
- Must be comfortable working with computers
- Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English Fluently
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
