We are currently looking for a talented Nursing Assistant who cares about the health of residents. The nursing assistant team administers medication and ensures that residents' files are updated in the Symo computer tool. They respond to emergencies and work closely with the health services manager. 7/14 evenings, from 4 p.m. to midnight, 56 hours per 2 weeks.
- Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Collaborate with residents for medical visits
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Provide a range of nursing care and treatments in order to maintain and restore residents health and to help prevent illness
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- Upon requests from physicians, pharmacists or the CISSS, follow up on residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- Good communication
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
