Pharmacy Manager (Licensed Pharmacist)
Pharmasave is looking for a dedicated and experienced licensed pharmacist with a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience to join our team as a Pharmacy Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about patient care, leadership, and delivering exceptional pharmacy services. The successful candidate should be flexible and willing to work at different pharmacy locations as operational needs require.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Ensure compliance with all Ontario pharmacy regulations, standards, and professional practice requirements.
- Provide exceptional patient care, medication counselling, and clinical services.
- Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants.
- Manage workflow to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient prescription processing.
- Oversee Methadone/Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) services in accordance with Ontario guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Kroll Pharmacy Management Software.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, narcotics, and controlled substances.
- Foster a positive, professional, and patient-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist.
- Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience providing Methadone/Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) services is required.
- Proficiency with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software is required.
- Must be flexible and willing to work at different pharmacy locations as needed.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
