Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Duties
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring projects progress according to plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and clarify project requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure construction work meets all safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project timelines using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools; adjust schedules as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues early and resolve them promptly.
- Manage on-site safety protocols, enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, and promote a culture of safety among all team members.
- Oversee budgeting processes related to labor, materials, and equipment; track expenses diligently.
- Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, reporting, and communication across teams.
- Lead supervising efforts by mentoring crew members, assigning tasks efficiently, and maintaining high team morale.
Skills
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and budgeting practices.
- Ability to perform quality control inspections ensuring work meets specified standards.
- Skilled in coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing project schedules effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for clear collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
