Job Requirements
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
Experience facilitating programs for young children and families.
Knowledge of child development and play-based, inquiry-focused learning.
Understanding of How Does Learning Happen? and Ontario EarlyON philosophy.
Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions and community-based programming is considered a strong asset.
Experience working with Indigenous children, families and communities is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Current Standard First Aid & CPR certification.
Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

Planning and facilitating engaging, inquiry-based programming that supports children's development while empowering parents and caregivers as their child's first teacher.
Create inclusive, culturally responsive environments that foster early learning, strengthen diverse family relationships
Connect families with community resources, and celebrate Indigenous culture, language, and traditions, while also embracing our diverse community.
Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and special events
Assist with program-related events and outings
Prepare required activity logs, attendance records, database entry and reports in accordance with program and funder requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned by your Team Lead or Executive Director
