Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing will focus on the development of in-store and eComm marketing messaging and creative solutions, visual merchandising, events and store renovations with managing the in-house studio/agencies/vendors along with overseeing the related projects and budgets for the branded omni-channel (Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung.com). This role will have a leadership role in our DtC loyalty strategy, building the customer value proposition, program and lifetime value for our customers to drive brand loyalty and strong emotional connection over time.
Key area of responsibility to develop specific marketing strategies and executional plans that will drive company financial and business objectives. At the highest level, this role is responsible for driving more customers to visit our stores and ecommerce business, bringing initiatives to market, leads development of the Direct to Consumer strategies for our go-to-market and commercial planning, customer traffic driving and brand affinity efforts.
Builds strong relationships within a functional structure to ensure alignment, achievement of business objectives, marketing message consistency and adherence to brand guardrails. This role will work collaboratively with S.com, SES, MARCOM and Product Managers to enhance our customer experience.

Rôle et Responsabilités

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Campaign Creative Development 30%

Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns to support seasonal calendar events, product launches and exclusive promotions.
Brief in-house studio team for creative project with messaging insights, art direct the visual and review creative options for refinement.
Maximize customer reach and touch points by leveraging various in-store and online communications tools and adapt consistent creative and messaging on brand throughout mediums.
Manage and update SES landing page with design, creative and messaging insights.
Hire, train and coach Design Specialists and Co-Ops.

Event, Activation and Partnership 10%

Manage events and activations end-to-end including ideation, management, logistics, marketing and reporting.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (PR) and oversees external agencies (experiential marketing, digital) and vendors.
Develops project briefs, tactical event plans and ensure events are delivered and on budget.
Engage with Mall Landlords to seek out partnership opportunities and participation in new programs .
Develop Customer Loyalty Program to for DtC customer to ensure the customer is at the heart of our planning and execution, delivering compelling communications and journeys to engage new and retained, loyal customers, and stay ahead of competition
Lead and develop the DtC loyalty program, acquiring new members, driving engagement, retention, and lifetime value in partnership with current partners, Samsung Ecosystem partnerships and new channel partners to enhance the customer value proposition for Ecommerce and SES
Develop in store marketing strategies to support events, influencers, customer training and video program and support for Grand Openings
Develop Strategies to support store growth through new market localized initiatives, popup store support and grass roots build for new product launch initiatives

Marketing strategy, Planning & Execution

Lead the development and execution of the Annual, quarterly, monthly marketing calendar aligned to S.com and SES commercial business plans
Develop innovative new strategies with media team to drive traffic and awareness locally for the stores, localized service and O2O experience offering
Liaise with MARCOM to ensure POP and digital content is coordinated with the overarching ATL campaigns
Brief and direct agencies for the creation of retail POP (print & digital)
Liaise with HQ and/or NAHQ to source/acquire s.com and SES marketing materials/assets
Support related retail programs i.e. Financing, Extended Warranty, Service etc… developing plans to effectively integrate into the applicable retail formats
Develop customer loyalty strategy for s.com and SES to bring value to consumers from Samsung, aligning overall lifetime value, leveraging the customer experience journey building emotional connection and brand advocacy
Overarching program in partnership with members
Leveraging Airmiles programs
Data driven content, promotions and VIP programs
Work with Product Managers to develop retail marketing solutions for IM/CEW/HA products in store and online to support;
New products introductions
Ongoing product refreshes
Press, Influencer and other related event for DtC
Review execution results to ensure deficiencies are remedied quickly and ROI targets are achieved
Support the marketing strategies for new SES locations and existing store renovations; interacting with agencies to build awareness and traffic for the location

Project Management & Budgeting

Prepare and share retail marketing plans & schedules with stakeholders
Lead and/or attend and participate in project status meetings involving project stakeholders
Review and obtain stakeholder & legal approvals for all retail marketing support materials including respective landlords and customer partners
Prepare budgets, track and reconcile all related retail marketing expenses
Oversee preparation of PUMI, PP, EO documentation for all managed retail marketing project
Prepare and submit vendor/agency payment requests in SAP.

Leadership

Be the voice internally on the needs of SES as it relates to instore brand marketing and .com for campaign creative services
Scale creative capabilities for s.com/digital screens/instore and other media
Work closely with UX/CX/Design team to manage assets for test and learn/audience/campaigns
Develop and improve internal advertising compliance framework, processes and messaging for DtC advertising, promotions and events
Lead the SES store locator aligned with O2O messaging, Store ratings, business listings
Lead PR for DtC with agencies, internal teams and global partners to maximize opportunities in market
Develop KPIs, reporting dashboards and customer lifetime value metrics aligned with business goals and objectives
Prepare weekly and/or monthly DtC Marketing Strategy decks for Senior Leadership Team
Link with HQ team to leverage retail marketing materials for use in channel and share best practices
Maintain working knowledge of channel and competitive OEM merchandising solutions for IM products and general retail best practices to leverage for SECA
Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully to SES operating partners
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Hire, onboard and coach Graphic Design Specialists and Marketing Co-op students

Requirements

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business required, MBA in Marketing preferred or equivalent experience in the retail merchandising industry.

Knowledge:
5-10 years of OMNI/Integrated marketing experience in retail environment with digital, physical channel marketing in fast paced growth environment, Direct to Consumer in luxury brand would be preferred
2+ years of experience in customer journey, post purchase journey
Digital and in store marketing, with demonstrated experience in retail activation, event management, new product launch and visual merchandising
Experience guiding and executing within matrix teams, including setting and monitoring KPIs that both reflect clear division of responsibilities and larger team goals.
In depth working knowledge of retail marketing communication strategies including Visual/Digital Display/Mall and Out of store
Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proven record of managing multi-million dollar retail projects with full budget accountability
Content strategy experience across digital, print, radio, TV to drive traffic, conversion and overall KPIs
Demonstrated abilities to address customer acquisition with Localization, geographies and innovative tactics to build awareness for new and existing retail locations
Understanding of Clientelling platforms, communications and processes to maximize revenue opportunities, scale and build B2B strategies
Superb communication and presentation skills
Ability to create strong relationships across functions, geographies and global head quarters
Strategic problem solver, creative, hands-on, stress-tolerant, agile and adaptable, strong bias for action start-up experience and scale up would be preferred
Superior project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, create promotional materials, coordinate and direct project teams, manage creative developers and manage budgets
Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preparation skills.

  • Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
