UBC Carpenters Union is recruiting experienced Journeyperson Carpenters for maintenance work at SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Power Station.
Position Details
- Agreement: Carpententers Maintenance Agreement
- Journeyperson rate: $46.81 per hour
- Start date: August 31, 2026
- Schedule: 6–7 days per week
- Shift length: 12-hour shifts
- Shifts available: Days and nights
- LOA: $170 per day
- Travel required
- Workers must have their own transportation to the site
LOA Documentation
To qualify for LOA, workers must provide two pieces of proof of residence, such as:
- Income tax documentation
- Property tax documentation
- Utility bill
Cable and cellphone bills will not be accepted as proof of residence.

- SCOT or CSTS
- Pre-access drug and alcohol test

- Reliable transportation to and from the site
