About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Supplier Quality Analyst to join our client's Quality team. In this role, you will ensure that incoming raw materials, blanks, and components, as well as parts returned from sub-suppliers, are inspected and that quality specifications are verified and assured before release to production. It's a great opportunity for someone with quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment who wants to grow into a supplier quality role — no engineering degree required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, blanks, and purchased components against drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements
- Validate parts returning from sub-suppliers (e.g., outside processing) to confirm they meet quality specifications before release to production
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, profile projector, and similar measuring equipment to verify dimensional requirements
- Review supplier documentation such as material certifications and certificates of conformance
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate incoming inspection records
- Identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming material and initiate non-conformance reports
- Support supplier corrective actions with clear evidence, data, and follow-up
- Track supplier quality performance (rejects, PPM, recurring issues) and report findings
- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Receiving
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a quality or technical field is considered an asset
- 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, incoming inspection, or a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Good computer skills and accurate data entry; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience
- Hands-on role with real ownership of incoming quality
- A collaborative, cross-functional work environment committed to continuous improvement
- The opportunity to be part of a globally recognized, industry-leading organization
- Opportunities for growth and development within supplier quality
