Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Daytime Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Answer guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and clarity
- Assist with seating arrangements, reservations, and waitlist management to optimize guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and surrounding areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy daytime hours
- Handle guest feedback or concerns promptly, aiming for swift resolution and satisfaction
Skills
- Excellent guest services and customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or food service roles is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and active listening
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Reliable team player with a proactive approach to assisting guests and colleagues
