Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented U-Pick Assistant to support our farm operations. This role involves assisting customers with their self-pick experience, managing inventory, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the pick-your-own environment. The ideal candidate will have a friendly,outgoing personality,strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a desire to work outside. This position offers an engaging outdoor work environment where teamwork and safety are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and harvesting produce during U-Pick hours
- Set up and monitor use of orchard stools and ladders
- Weekend availability is essential
- Hours : 7:30am to 2 pm daily
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities
- Picking cherries to fill orders
- Assisting in packing and sales at orchard stall
- Cashier experience and/or first aid training an asset
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor activity required.
- Reliability and punctuality essential
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
