Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor landscaping, maintenance, and construction tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and landscape work, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction while contributing to high-quality outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform gardening duties including pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conduct general landscape maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean and attractive
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently for various tasks
- Support construction projects related to outdoor space development or renovation
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities
Skills
- Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture is preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and construction techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining power tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
- Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided for necessary skills
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
