We are a fast growing multi-doctor practice looking for an Optician or Optometric Assistant to add to our team. We strive to provide the best products and service to our patients. As such, we only use high quality lenses and give you the opportunity to select and recommend the best products for your patients.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Optometrist to determine the best products for each patient. This direct collaboration between Optician and Optometrist is key to making sure patients are happy and gives you a greater impact on patient care.
Job duties to include: frame selection, lens selection, frame adjustments, greeting and pretesting patients, lens edging, contact lens teaches
The ideal candidate will:
Be outgoing, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both other staff and patients be able to work in a fast paced work environment, and be detail orientated.
Remuneration is well above average, includes benefits and vacation.
The position is for 4-5 days per week, including Saturday.
