- Research applicable electrical safety and emissions codes and certifications
- Support third-party certification processes (e.g., FCC, CE, CSA)
- Build and manage BOMs, technical documentation, and wiring schematics
- Vet electrical suppliers and manufacturing partners
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- 2–5 years of experience in electronics design and prototyping
- Experience with microprocessor, monitoring, and sensing circuits.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, Eagle, Fusion)
- Experience with ARM based micro controllers (Arduino, EPS32, STM) in C
- Firmware development experience an asset
- Strong documentation and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a product development or R&D setting
