Employment / Developmental Service Worker – Summer Student
Educational Requirements:
Currently enrolled in, or pursuing education in, a Human Services-related field (e.g. Social Services, Developmental Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education), or demonstrated interest in the field.
Responsibilities:

Support individuals in achieving personal goals, independence, and community inclusion

Assist with recreational, social, and community-based activities

Promote a safe, healthy, and respectful environment

Work collaboratively with staff to support problem-solving and identify needs

Follow agency policies, health and safety standards, and participate in training as required

Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions:

Community-based work involving travel

May support individuals with behavioural, social, and emotional needs

Physical demands may vary based on support requirements
Please Note: Summer students are not permitted to provide personal care, administer medication, or transport supported individuals. All applicants must demonstrate they have a valid Ontario license and access to a vehicle. Police clearances are mandatory to submit prior to working.
