The Mill Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Mill Maintenance General Foreman.

What you will do:
Execute and supervise the work tasks for the Mill Mechanical crew
Maintain a safe working environment by upholding standards, being active and knowledgeable in safety programs and responding to crew safety concerns

Schedule daily work assignments for the crew

Assist in the planning process for the crew

Conduct and document regular safety meetings

Understand and abide by the collective agreement and relevant regulations

Execute cost saving opportunities when available
Maintain a high level of reliability in the area
Technical support for Project Engineering initiatives

What you will bring:
Must hold a Journeyperson Certificate in a relevant trade or Engineering Degree
Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalency
Effective communication skills
Good computer skills, including the use of EAM software and Microsoft Office
Organizational skills to be able to develop a daily schedule with minimal break in work
Regular assessment of trade skills and development of training plans
