Position Scope
As a Power Engineer, you will manage day-to-day operations, including freezing tunnels startup, defrosting, and cold storage operations, while also assisting refrigeration mechanics with minor repairs. This dynamic role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, operating with a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency. You will be expected to strictly follow all food safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Our Oxford facility operates on Natural Gas, utilizing two 500hp CleaverBrooks Firetube Boilers.

Regular exposure to cold environments.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

A Power Engineering Technology Diploma and/or 4th Power & 2nd Refrigeration certifications would be considered an asset.

Previous experience in an industrial environment.

Fall Arrest Training, knowledge of LOTO and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is considered an asset.
