Duties
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Maintain a safe work area by following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy materials as required throughout the shift.
