To support its development, the Parts, Accessories, Clothing (PAV) department of BRP is looking for an Analyst - development of packaging for BRP accessories - Member of the "packaging" team of the PAV department, and working daily within the BRP PAV product development team (parts, accessories, clothing) in Valcourt, the packaging development analyst will be in charge of defining and supporting the development of packaging during the development process of new BRP accessories.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the development of packaging for new accessories for global brands: BRP, Can-am, Ski-doo, Sea-doo, Lynx, XPS and for certain spare parts.
Propose and execute packaging strategies in agreement with product managers.
Influence Business cases in order to optimize packaging and transport,
Support, guide accessories suppliers in the development of packaging for new accessories.
Coordinate packaging development with expert packaging suppliers for non-packaging accessory suppliers.
Establish / Validate packaging instructions.
Guarantee efficiency and price, approve packaging prototypes and identifications for new accessories.
Influence and work with product managers to define the best packaging approaches for consumer distribution (“Retail”)
Analyze and propose / implement action plans in the event of packaging quality issues with suppliers or in the distribution network.
Integration of feedback into future developments.
Occasional supplier visits, regular visits to the main BRP warehouse.
Participate punctually in projects involving BRP Vehicle production or other BRP Entities (special vehicles, Outboard Engines, BRP Finland, BRP Mexico…)
Animation of packaging requirements internally and with suppliers.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Profile: Business Administration or Engineer or any other profile with a university education and an ability to understand the supply chain, development processes (Engineering) and having customer satisfaction at heart.
Any experience in the world of distribution, logistics or packaging will be appreciated.
Years of experience: 3 to 5 years.
Language: French and English required.
The main objective is to ensure an optimal customer experience for our consumers by designing effective packaging. These packaging must make it possible to protect and transport the products while ensuring productivity throughout the supply chain (from the packaging of products at the supplier through transport, handling and storage in the various warehouses, handling and opening at our dealers and customers).
The position requires a capacity to work with different departments and trades within BRP (Engineers, designers, buyers, product managers, etc.) and with our partners and suppliers.
The ability to support multidisciplinary teams and sensitize them to continuous improvement around the development of packaging solutions will be one of the keys to the success of the future coordinator.
This role is located in Valcourt (on average 3 days / week), Sherbrooke (on average 2 days / week) (occasional trips to Saint Jean sur richelieu or to suppliers (in the region) to be expected.
