Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations . This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business goals. The Supervisor will play a key role in sales growth, oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards, and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. (Part-time, with opportunity to become full-time)
Duties
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure positive experiences.
- Develop marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase visibility.
- Supervise daily operations of the label production floor
- Manage and support production staff and scheduling
- Ensure production targets, deadlines, and quality standards are met
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance when needed
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and supplies
- Enforce safety procedures and workplace policies
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
- Work closely with management to improve efficiency and workflow
Skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production supervision (label printing preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of printing/label machinery is an asset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma required; post-secondary an asset
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
