One of our clients is currently looking for CNC Plasma / Oxy Cutting Operators in Cambridge, ON.
Previous CNC plasma or oxy-fuel cutting experience is an asset but not required. Successful candidates will be trained to operate CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment while producing high-quality precision steel components in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
· Operate CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment after completing training.
· Read and follow production drawings, work instructions, and safety procedures.
· Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
· Assist with material handling using overhead cranes and other equipment.
· Complete daily machine inspections and basic operator maintenance.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Work closely with production team members to achieve daily targets.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

· Willingness to learn CNC cutting operations and manufacturing processes.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Basic computer skills.
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
· Manufacturing or CNC equipment experience is an asset but not required.
· Reliable transportation to the Cambridge location.
Physical Requirements:
· Stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
· Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
· Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
· Work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy steel materials.
· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
