Sunder Building Supplies is seeking an experienced and motivated Truss Production Supervisor to lead our truss manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting the growth and development of production staff.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily truss production activities
- Lead and support production employees to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals
- Schedule and assign work to maximize efficiency and meet production deadlines
- Ensure roof and floor trusses are manufactured according to engineered drawings and specifications
- Monitor production output and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate with management, sales, and design teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in truss manufacturing, construction, framing, or a related industry
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of truss manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Ability to read and interpret truss drawings and specifications
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Forklift experience is an asset
