Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented civil works operator who has minimuim five years work experience as an operator. Must be familiar with work guidelines and standards in local lower mainland municipalities. Must have experience in all underground utilities work, surface work prep, mainline operating, operating around exsisting utilities, and general civil construction knowledge.
Qualifications
- 5 Years minimum civil works operating experience.
- Demonstrated ability in running heavy equipment including excavator, backhoe, skid and steer.
- Class 5 BC Driver License
- Excellent ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment .
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ensure to follow required safety protocols on an as needed basis.
Job Scope:
1. Ability to run excavator for size 15 to 500. Excavate with care around existing utilities.
2. Ability to run backhoe and excavate with care around existing utilities.
3. Ability to run a service hoe; Install pipe with excavator, backfill, load trucks, and transfer vehicles.
Compensation:
1. Standard Company Benefits package.
2.. Hourly Pay with eligibility for overtime pay.
3. 2 Weeks paid time off per year.
4. Eligibility for bonuses based on performance.

Pay: $43.50-$48.50 per hour
