You Have:
- A bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Experience teaching students in Canada
- Be familiar to Ontario G9-12 curriculum
- A dedication to students' growth.
- Have experience teaching at least one high school subject, including but not limited to English, Math, or other science subjects.
Responsibilities:
- Has the ability to maintain a professional and positive learning environment to ensure success
- Supervising & engaging with students
- Be able to prepare homework
- Be able to prepare teaching materials when needed
- Has a good understanding of growing success.
- Have experience teaching students in English-speaking countries
- Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Be highly motivated, positive, and independent, have great teamwork skills.
- Familiar with power point, excel and work
- Be able to work after 4 pm on weekdays and 10 am -4pm on Saturday
You are able to teach one or more of these:
- Test Prep (OSSLT, Language Test, IB program)
- English (Phonetic, Vocabulary, Grammar, Literacy, Writing)
- One or more high school subject: Gr 9-12 Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science
- All levels of reading and writing
- Executive functioning (organization, study skills, time management)
