Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety protocols. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful projects that meet all specifications and regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, perform quality inspections, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Oversee construction estimating processes to prepare accurate cost projections.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify potential issues early in the process.
- Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in construction projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising diverse teams of subcontractors and workers; strong interpersonal skills is a must.
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong computer skills and digital filing skills.
